Troopers were dispatched to Croton Avenue, in the town of Cortlandt at approximately 7:05 p.m., for a two-car motor vehicle collision with injuries.
An investigation determined Putnam Valley resident Kevin Singleton was traveling south on Croton Avenue, and entered the northbound lane with his 2013 Ford F150.
Singleton struck a northbound 2017 Honda Civic occupied by the three teens, causing injuries to each. The vehicle overturned in the crash. One victim suffered serious injuries, police said.
Singleton was charged with vehicular assault in the second degree (a class E felony), reckless endangerment in the second degree, three counts of assault in the third degree, all class A misdemeanors, and aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Singleton was found to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Singleton was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Cortlandt Court on Nov. 1.
